How to give
You not only have choices regarding the utilization of your gift but also regarding what to give and how you give. Some gifts incur no immediate cost, gifts that generate income for you, and gifts that empower you to determine the timing of their impact.
Through a provision in your written and executed will, you can make a gift in the form of cash, securities, real estate, or personal property. There are many types of bequests. Choose the one that best fits your needs and intentions.
If you're 70 ½ or older, you can make a gift directly from your IRA to the Conference. While there is no charitable deduction for a rollover gift, you do avoid the income tax on the donated portion of your required minimum distribution.
Naming The Lehigh Conference of Churches as the beneficiary of a qualified retirement plan asset such as a 401(k), 403(b), IRA, Keogh, profit-sharing pension plan, or other donor-advised funds, will accomplish a charitable goal while realizing significant tax savings.
Designate the Conference as a beneficiary to receive all or a portion of the balance of your Donor Advised Fund (DAF) through your fund administrator. You also can make a grant to us at any time from your donor-advised fund.
Name The Lehigh Conference of Churches as the beneficiary of an existing life insurance policy; donate an existing, paid-up life insurance policy you no longer need; or purchase a new life insurance policy and name The Conference as the owner and beneficiary.
When you donate appreciated stocks, bonds, or mutual fund shares instead of cash, you'll receive charitable deductions at full, fair market value while reducing capital gains impact.
Join the Edward m. gianforte leadership giving society
The Gianforte Leadership Giving Society will recognize those individuals and families who serve as role models of generosity by leading the way with an annual gift to the Conference of $1,000 or more. Contributions will be directed to the Gianforte Fund, where the funds will be allocated to the Conference's programs most in need at the discretion of the board of directors.

Giving for Dignity
Pam Weiss dedicates herself to giving back to members of our community, aiming to restore their dignity and offer them a second chance.
Giving For Dignity
There are myriad reasons to advocate for the Lehigh Conference of Churches (LCC): individuals facing hunger, homelessness, in need of counseling, battling loneliness, seeking guidance, and the list continues. Yet, for me, my support for LCC boils down to a single word: dignity. Regardless of the circumstances leading individuals to a place of need, many find themselves stripped of their dignity by societal standards. In my view, this is fundamentally unjust. These individuals are part of our community and deserve the same respect afforded to any other person. If providing a basic meal, clothing, shelter from the cold, or simply offering a helping hand can convey the message, "We recognize your worth," then it's imperative that we utilize our time, energy, and material/financial resources to restore dignity to as many people as possible.
The Least of Our brothers
William Konek's devotion to Daybreak fuels his ongoing commitment to support the most vulnerable members of our community.
THE LEAST OF OUR BROTHERS
When I reflect on Daybreak, a verse from a hymnal song often echoes in my mind, drawing from the biblical passage: "Whatever you do to the least of my brothers, that you do unto me." This encapsulates the essence of Daybreak for me—extending aid to "the least of our brothers." There will always be individuals slipping through the cracks, in need of sustenance, guidance, or a helping hand.
Supporting Daybreak becomes a tangible way to reach out to those most in need. Living a meaningful life involves acts of compassion, and backing Daybreak aligns with that purpose. Let us remember the words: "Whatever you do to the least of my brothers, that you do unto me." God bless.

Judgement Free Supoort
I first learned about the Lehigh Conference of Churches (LCC) when a work colleague brought me to meet the staff, tour the facility, and learn about what they do. I was stunned to learn the amount of support this organization provides to the homeless and hungry population of the Lehigh Valley. I was so moved that day, I decided to get involved as a donor and support their good work. I give proudly to the LCC because I know my donations will help fund various outreach programs that address critical needs such as food insecurity, homelessness, and access to healthcare.
Donating to the LCC is meaningful as someone with friends impacted by homelessness. I know my gifts will help the LCC offer judgment-free support for many people just like them – friendly faces who have fallen on hard times. I also appreciate that through the LCC, my donations stay local.
I take pride in supporting this 70-year-old organization in its significant and impactful service to those in need.
