Abigail Goldfarb

Abigail Goldfarb, Executive Director

Abby Goldfarb holds a bachelor’s degree from Kutztown University and a master’s degree from CUNY-John Jay College, both in Psychology. She has many years of experience in community programming and organizing. She has been with the Conference since 2009. Ms. Goldfarb is a Lehigh Valley native and an active volunteer in the community.

Deanne Best

Deanne Malacsics Best, Director of Programs

Deanne Malacsics Best has been with The Lehigh Conference of Churches since 2005, first as a case manager, then housing director and now in her current role as director of programs. She is a graduate of Kutztown University with a Bachelor of Science in criminal justice. As a member of the senior management team, she is responsible for the growth of Conference initiatives, maintaining program excellence, and developing relationships with partner organizations. Born and raised in the area, she is proud of the staff, the ecumenical community, volunteers and supporters who have come together to help those in need in the Lehigh Valley.

Christine Rinker

Christine Rinker, Director of Administration

Christine Rinker is a life-long resident of the Lehigh Valley who joined The Lehigh Conference of Churches in 2016 as a forensic case manager. During her time at the Conference, Christine has made an impact with clients and providers alike. Christine holds a bachelor’s degree from Kutztown University and a master’s degree from Rosemont College.

Shawn Milisits

Shawn Milisits, Director of Finance

Shawn Milisits graduated Cum Laude from Muhlenberg College in 2010 with a bachelor’s degree in accounting.  Prior to rejoining the Conference, he held various accounting positions in both for-profit and non-profit industries.  When Shawn is not crunching numbers, he enjoys spending time with his family and playing disc golf whenever possible. He is excited to be back with The Lehigh Conference of Churches to work with all the various departments to serve the community in every way we can.
