What We Do

Putting our faith into action, we assist those most in need in our community through programs directed to the homeless, the hungry, and people with mental health concerns.

Conference Kitchen

The Conference Kitchen ensures that the working poor, homeless, elderly, children, people between jobs, individuals on fixed incomes, and those who have nowhere else to turn can receive a free nutritious meal, three times a day, five days a week.

Breakfast is served from 8:00 to 9:00 am, lunch from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm and dinner from 4:00 to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday.

We rely on the kindness of our volunteers to help us prepare and serve food. Take your first step and volunteer today by contacting Chris Moran at cmoran@lehighchurches.org

Housing

The Conference Housing program builds a path in which those who are homeless, threatened with homelessness, or re-entering society from jail or prison can find stability in their lives. We offer rental assistance, utility deposits, furniture, and support enabling families and individuals to stay housed.

If you are in need of housing we ask that you meet with us so we can access your needs. No appointment is necessary. Visit us from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Thursday at 457 W. Allen Street, Allentown.

Health

Health

Our health programs connect our neighbors in need to essential care, including mental health support, public benefit enrollments, health screening and connections to medical personnel. On-site professional care is an essential part of self-sufficiency.

Support Services

We offer a myriad of supportive services to help individuals and families overcome the obstacles they face. Uniquely equipped staff meet people where they are and guide them through the steps to be successful with money management, job readiness, benefit enrollment, securing and ID, and apartment hunting.
