Brief History

Six Allentown pastors, driven by Christian faith to help those in need, formed the organization in 1954. With the fervent support from area faith communities, dedicated staff members, individual and business contributors, and community volunteers, we serve thousands of families and individuals living in the Lehigh Valley offering a continuum of care designed to meet basic human needs: food, a roof overhead, dignity, a sense of belonging and hope for the future.
