Join us as a Member Church

As a member church we ask that you share information on the Conference’s educational and ecumenical events with your congregation and constituents. Consider volunteering or donating supplies to one of the Conference’s many programs and opportunities for engagement such as the Drop-in Center, the Conference Kitchen and Outreach. Support the Conference’s mission with a suggested minimum annual financial gift of: $200 for 1-100 active members; $300 for 100-300 active members; $500 for more than 300 active members; $500 or more for agencies. Participate in our annual meeting, a gathering of our stakeholders, to learn more about the current mission of the Conference and set our vision for the future. Help us lead our community in feeding, clothing, healing, housing and uniting God’s children. We invite you to join us in this important mission. Only together can we truly care for the least among us.

Christian Unity

The Lehigh Conference of Churches facilitates cooperation among the diverse Christian traditions within the Lehigh Valley. Our ecumenical witness is grounded in service to and advocacy for those living in poverty and those facing mental challenges. The Conference’s work also includes enabling dialogue that encourages greater understanding, tolerance, and collaboration within the body of Christ. Members, who include both clergy and laypeople, work to create worship and educational experiences that foster Christian unity and dialogue. The committee plans annual events including the Robert K. Campbell Memorial Lectures on Christian Unity

Justice & Advocacy

The Justice and Advocacy Committee, as the independent voice of the The Lehigh Conference of Churches, is an advocate for social justice. The committee reaches out to a diverse community of faith organizations to inspire and encourage engagement for problem-solving. We provide educational opportunities and public forums for theologically-based discussion as we call out mutual concerns and unjust conditions.
