Putting Our Faith into Action

We assist those most in need in our community through programs directed to the homeless, the hungry, and people with mental health concerns.

Each year, the Lehigh Conference of Churches links 7,000 people in crisis to community resources through our various programs.

 

Ecumenical Soup Kitchen

Serves more than 36,000 meals—including 1,500 to children

Daybreak Drop-In Center

Provides safe, supportive programs for more than 300 people struggling with mental health; serves 25,000 hot meals, provides 500 free health screenings, and supplies transportation assistance to 150 people

Pathways Housing Services

Finds shelter for 2,200 individuals facing homelessness. Assists 150 people, including 15 children, with pharmaceutical needs

HOPE Program

Helps stabilize the lives of more than 30 adults dealing with homelessness and mental illness

Volunteer Program

Provides opportunities for more than 4,600 volunteers, who log approximately 15,000 hours of service, resulting in contributions exceeding $330,000.
