Daybreak Moves Into New Space at Dubbs
After months of renovations, Daybreak has relocated to the lower level of Dubbs Memorial Community Center. The new drop-in center is a bright, open, and welcoming place, with double the amount of square footage of its previous location in Alliance Hall.
“We have comfortable seating all over for people to relax, spend time with friends, and socialize,” says Daybreak Supervisor Christina DiPierro.
Kitchen facilities are larger and greatly improved, housing the program’s own walk-in freezer and refrigerator. Members can use a safe, ADA-compliant shower with grab bars and a shower seat. Lockers are also available during the day to keep belongings safe.
Staff have significantly more office space and storage, helping to keep everyone and everything more organized. This is truly a new dawn for Daybreak!
